Thermoformable chipboard can be made from used beverage cartons. They are shredded, spread in a layer to the desired thickness, put in a press and heated to approximately 170°C to melt the plastic, followed by cold pressing for final setting. The plastic binds the densely packed fibers and aluminum shreds together without addition of any glue or binding chemical.

     - Excellent insulation and sound proofing qualities
     - 100% termite and borer resistant and powder free
     - Can be sawn, molded, cut, glued, screwed or nailed like other boards.
      Beverage carton can be recycled to be the recycled paper, moreover, the aluminum foil and PE are also recyclable.  They can be recycled to be the plastic ware, for example; CD holder, basket, pencil box, bin, bag etc.
